BEN GREEN
Ben's been in dozens of comedy sketches. Sketches which he also wrote and directed in between his day job as a production co-ordinator at the BBC. They're all on his YouTube channel, Greensville.
He's in the top 10 most watched comedians on MySpace TV in the UK, and that's richly deserved. His short pieces are brilliantly constructed and brilliantly observed, turning on one strong, central idea and building the gags around it.
Recently Ben won the YOBI Laugh contest from YOBI.tv's first season for his entry Punch Me I Won't Sue. Ben won $10,000 and VIP tickets to the taping of the Late Show with David Letterman.
Recently Ben was cast in a legendary Virgin Trains advert, opposite Richard Branson, called Success Express which is also on YouTube.
It was a mutual friend at the BBC who introduced Ben and William to each other - they've also created a couple of sketches together which will be online soon. Ben is currently developing further sketches and his own sitcom.
Ben is famous within the BBC for using the Dog Borstal set (and staff) as inspiration for a short film called Mutated Killer Death Beasts. |
